Attended a celebration here and everything about this place was top notch friendly service, atmosphere, and food. Melissa and Gabby served the table and helped us organize the guest. Gabby helped us decorate with a smile ! The food was delicious and I mean every dish came out perfect. They even had a band and the singers voice was spot on. They made a an out of this world carrot cake too! Do not let the rustic Adirondack outside fool you! This place is a gem! The also have some quality craft beer at the bar !

We arrived at 4:00 PM, when the restaurant opened. We sat at the bar, ordered drinks, looked at the menu and within minutes our appetizers were in front of us (Bang Bang Shrimp and Bruschetta). Bother were delicious. When we finished the appetizers, out came the entrees (Mediterranean Haddock and Shrimp Risotto). They were delicious as well. The portions were big, so we had to take them home. Randi, our bartender was pleasant, efficient and attentive.

I had originally given a one star review because Their website was broken (error 404) and its could not see a menu or anything else before making the drive to the restaurant (I am not a local per se). Update 3/1/25: I have now been to the Trail Break twice with my wife for a "date night," and we both couldn't be more pleased with our dining experience! We have met one of the owners, Jeff; and he was most pleasant for sure. He informed us of that nights specials. My wife and I both had the ribeye special, and we were both very pleased with our meals. Cooked perfectly and well seasoned; certainly not over seasoned, which can sometimes happen to cover up a poorer cut of meat. The staff was also wonderful, very attentive without being distracting or breaking our date night mood. I would advise reservations only because we think the front room (by the bar and fireplace) just has a better vibe and more intimate setting; that is if your a couple. If with family or a larger group than the main dining room is fine. The main dining room can sometimes feel just a bit like a catering hall space, despite the fact that it is decorated appropriately given its cabin-esque feel. I wholeheartedly recommend the Trail Break Inn to individuals, couples, and families! P.S. there is some craft beer gems on the canned / bottled beers list! Some rare and hard-to-finds

We have not been disappointed coming here. The food is very good & the service is crisp and good. Had the bang bang shrimp for an appetizer, my dinner date had the fettuccini alfredo perfect cooked, with a side salad. Medium prime rib special with sweet potato waffle fries and asparagus. The prime was just the way I like it and the dipping sause for the fries was amazing. We finished the night with apple pie and flour less chocolate cake excellent. Highly recommend coming here. You won't be sorry you did.

Update: been here numerous times since the first review and have taken folks along with us and everyone agrees that the food and service is top notch! Seriously have never had a bad experience here. Latest photo is the prime rib special. Amazing! One great meal could be a fluke. Two... ok maybe they are that good. Three, wow ok this place is really good. Four... discussion over. Trail Break is the real deal. They never disappoint, they clearly care about the quality of the food and it shows. I ordered the Bang Bang shrimp appetizer and it was better than I expected. Super friendly staff and a great bar as well! Throw in one of the best beer and whiskey selections you’ll find anywhere near here and you have yourself a gem!

The food was amazing! Trailbreak has a nice variety of dishes for Vegans, vegetarians, and Gluetin intolerance. Our waitress Grace is a sweetheart. The atmosphere has a very Adirondack feel. Everyone was smiling and kind.
